GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF VEHICLE RENTAL
For entrepreneurs and consumers
1. Basic information
- The company DENIS VV s.r.o. with its registered office at Chudenická 1059/30
102 00 Prague
ID: 27943208 (hereinafter referred to as the "lessor"), provides rental in accordance with these terms and conditions and the motor vehicle rental contract. (hereinafter referred to as the "Contract")
- The contract is superior to these terms and conditions, each of the provisions below, i.e. it applies only provided that the contract does not state otherwise.
- The lessor's client can be a private person, a natural person, an entrepreneur, or a legal entity. (hereinafter referred to as the "Lessee")
2. Conditions for providing the lease
- The lessee, or the person who takes over the vehicle on the basis of the lessee's authorization or representation (hereinafter referred to as the "Authorized Person"), must possess a category B driving license.
- The lessee or authorized person must present two valid identity documents (including a driving license), photocopies of which will be attached to the contract.
3. Refundable deposit
- The tenant or authorized person pays a refundable deposit in cash, by transfer or deposit to the lessor's account, in the amount specified in the contract, no later than when signing the contract.
- The deposit can be used to pay any debts, fines, fees, damages, etc.
- The deposit is returned within 30 days; if the vehicle is damaged by the tenant, this period can be extended to 70 days.
4. Vehicle reservation and order
- The tenant can order a car by phone, email or via the online reservation form. The tenant always chooses only the make and model, or type of vehicle. In the event of the unavailability of the selected vehicle, the lessor will offer the tenant a suitable alternative. The order becomes binding if both parties agree and the contract is signed.
- The rental agreement is sent to the tenant by email. the address that the tenant has indicated as the contact. After familiarizing himself with the agreement, the tenant expresses his agreement with the conditions stated therein by signing it and is obliged to pay a refundable deposit.
- The lessor reserves the right to withdraw from the agreement without giving a reason.
5. Pick-up and drop-off of the vehicle
- The vehicle is handed over and returned in the following locations: Prague Airport, Prague Letňany, Prague Černý Most and Mladá Boleslav on working days from 08:00 to 18:00. Upon agreement, it is possible to hand over and return the vehicle at another location and outside the specified time, however, this service is subject to a fee, its price will be stated in the agreement.
- The lessor hands over the vehicle to the tenant in perfect technical condition, clean and with a full tank.
- The lessee or authorized person is obliged to hand over the vehicle to the lessor in the same condition in which he received it, i.e. washed, dried and with a cleaned interior, exterior and full tank. In case of violation of this condition, the lessee will be charged a fee,
or compensation for the costs of refueling and cleaning the exterior and interior of the vehicle. The amount of this amount will be specified in more detail in the contract.
6. Lessee's Obligations
- The vehicle may only be used by the lessee or authorized persons
- The lessee is obliged to comply with traffic regulations and the rules and obligations of road users.
- The lessee is obliged to use only suitable fuels, check and top up the operating tanks. The costs of these fuels and tanks are not included in the rental price.
- The lessee is obliged to properly secure and lock the vehicle after leaving it.
- The lessee is obliged to use the vehicle only on land roads.
- The lessee may not leave the territory of the European Union with the vehicle without the lessor's prior consent
- The lessee may not make any changes to the vehicle
- In the event of a breakdown, damage, accident or theft of the vehicle, the lessee is obliged to contact the lessor immediately and inform him/her thereof.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited in all of the Lessor's vehicles, and the Lessee is obliged to respect this ban. In case of violation, the Lessee will be fined, the amount of which will be specified in the contract.
- The Lessee is obliged to bring the vehicle to a selected location for inspection at the Lessor's request. Details will be specified in the contract.
7. Additional equipment
- Available for an additional fee, according to an individual offer.
8. Cancellation fees
- Cancellation 14 days in advance: refund of deposit minus 1000 CZK excluding VAT
- Cancellation 48 or more hours in advance: refund of deposit minus 2000 CZK excluding VAT
- Cancellation within 48 hours: cancellation 100%, but no more than 3 days
- Cancellation on the day of rental and after the pick-up time: cancellation 100%, but no more than 7 days
- Additional fees for vain vehicle delivery
9. Liability for damage
- Basic deductible 10%
- Possibility of purchasing a zero deductible.
10. Final provisions
- The terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic
10. Other provisions
- The invalidity of a part does not affect the rest of the conditions
- Changes only in writing
- Effective from 01.03.2025
